I think that it is good really, typical NG humor and I don't see why people are so negative towards this flash? Also, PsychicPebble wannabe? Just because he did the "How to be a famous youtube Vlogger"?

As if that is the first idea in such a genré? It's been done so many times already, it just differs at the fact that he did something about Youtube. I think it's good, and I don't get why people follow this bandwagon of undermining a bunch of artists at NG? Just because 2 or 3 artists are amazing at what they do, doesn't make other work turn into poop material.

The only thing I didn't like about this animation, is that it lets some jokes slip by, like the part where he sucks the microphone off on stage. Other than that, good animation.

It's cool, and original.

First off, I read that you're a female animator? Cool, that's very ordinary. As is the movie!
It's very amateur no doubt, but it's good. It's different and that's a huge plus. I feel as though the voice acting could have been better. The animation is basic but works. At some places it becomes kinda cheap but I see why aswell.

I'd say keep going. Wanna trade techniques feel free to PM =D
I enjoyed it, and I watched it because of it's originality, elsewise I usually don't watch animations that are about this long.

My personal opinion

Since this isn't the work itself, I'm judging this as a trailer. The trailer didn't say much about your short, what it's going to be about or any other characters but that one.

The animation, and the combination of audio makes me want to see this once it's released. Looking forward to seeing it!

Thanks. I do actually understand your perspective and I think you've got a very fair point. I carved this trailer out of the first two minutes of the short because I didn't want to give anything away. It's quite a twist based story line.

Definitely appreciate your input, newgrounds has changed since I last came on here.

Your humour is good.

I like the script, it's funny. What I think you should improve on (judging by this animation) is the art, animation and sound.

Also, instead of adding pictures (like the bear in the snow with something about cocaine in the text) is make the pictures yourself.

Otherwise, good animation =D

I couldn't resist adding the bear on cocaine. Its a meme I've grown a liking to and wanted to see it in one of my animations.

The jokes could have been better.

The jokes could have been better. You could also have skipped doing a credits scene for a 3(?) minute short. It seems kind of pointless. Same goes for introductions. Rahter you'd have a fulfilling menu screen, replay menu.

Also, work a bit more on the art, and the tilt tweens are kind of annoying. I know, it gives the animation a kind of nice feel and touch, but it also looks a bit cheap when it happens frequently.

Other wise, good job.

Yeah, I think the jokes are what dropped this animation's score down so low. They weren't the best, I just didn't realize they were THAT bad. I guess I could have skipped a credits scene, I just enjoy featuring a different audio portal song for the credits of every animation I make xD. The introduction was supposed to be its own little joke though, so I don't regret putting that in.
I admit, I'm not a very good artist, but with each animation I improve a bit, so the art is slowly but surely getting better. And the tilt tweens, I promise I won't use them as much. I did like the effect it had, though.
Anyway, thanks for the review! I'm glad you didn't base your score entirely on the quality of the jokes =)

Loved it

Loved the way you used motion tweening, loved the backgrounds and the movements of the characters. The style is simple and basic yet works perfectly for the animation.

What I however would want to point out that this episode lacks is that the pilot was way to much a pilot. Feels like it gives away what this is going to be about way too much. And I was a bit more excited to see what storylines the aliens had tbh. And what sucked is that the introduction is almost as long as the episode itself.

Also, I get it, the main human character (whatever his name was) is one of those cute sweet guys who falls in love with someone in the first episode. Feels like a Fry and Leela story, except without the raw jokes Futurama pull off.

Yes, we realized the risk of making it fully introductory. But a pilot is a pilot is a pilot. We've already decided that the second episode will be more lively and have some other shorts planned to head into that direction. Thanks for the review!

Very good for a locklegion movie! =). I fell asleep at the begin and the environment at the begin was really bad. I liked the war joke end thingie though =)
